On the 2nd and 3rd of October 2008, the Training Programme "Developing an HR Strategy" was ran with success.

In today's business environment, Human Resources Management is gaining crucial importance not only to those who are directly involved in the field, but also for others who have the responsibility of managing people.

This programme was broken down into specific modules, namely - Human Resources Development within a Modern Management Perspective, Training Needs Analysis, Selection and Interviewing, Job Description, Job Evaluation, On-the-Job Training and Performance Appraisal.

The trainer was Mr. Lawrence Zammit, co-founder of MISCO Malta. Lawrence has been training programmes to senior and middle management for the last twenty-five years. He is directly involved in a number of business organizations working on a range of activities from retailing to manufacturing to finance to tourism and travel. This has given him first hand experience in the issues related to management and development of human resources.
